West Indies Women (WI-W) Vs India Women (IN-W)

Key players return for both sides with the series on the line

Indian Women have bounced back in the second ODI of the 3-match series to stay alive after their narrowest defeat in the first ODI. The first game was certainly a nail biter but the second proved to be a one-sided affair with India firing all the cylinders. West Indies Women have struggled to score runs in the two games so far. Now the return of H Mathews will certainly boost their morale in the batting front. In India’s case, it is the same with the return of S Mandana. So it’s fascinating to see whether these two superstars will make a difference in the batting front with the series on the line given the surface condition for batting.

Team News

S Mandana’s comeback to the squad means either P Punia or P Raut has to make way for her in the playing XI. On the other hand, S Mathews is likely to replace N McLean for West Indies,

Pitch Report

The surface at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua has proved to be tricky for run-scoring as it slows down as the game progresses. The third ODI is set to play on a different surface but expects it to play more or less the same way.
