Can Platoon stop the Royals in the second attempt?
Rajshahi Royals and Dhaka Platoon which is at No.2 & 4 positions respectively in the points table will clash off each other for the second time in the season in Dhaka. The position in the points table certainly reflects how strong the Royals unit is, allrounders and top-order batsmen are their strength. The Platoon may have slightly weaker compared to Royals but they do have few top performers of the season which makes the contest an enthralling one to watch out for.
Afif Hossain, Linton Das, Shoaib Malik, and Tamim Iqbal are the top picks in the batsmen category for this match. In this match allrounder’s seems to be the key, the likes to Andre Russell, Ravi Bopara and Thisera Perera all have a PPM close to 60 or above.
In the bowling, Mehndi Hasan who is also batting at No.3 is the top pick in the match with a PPM.of 54. Other than him, Wahab Riaz is only another bowler to have a PPM of 40 in the tour.

The surface in Dhaka has turned in favor of batsmen in its second stint of the season where the average score rose by 15-20 runs. So expect the same trend to continue this week as well.
After taking a break from the game due to personnel reason the veteran opener seems haven’t lost the touch at all. He has provided the team with good starts or cane up with match-defining knocks. He has a PPM of close to 50 and an MDTA of 1.5 on the tour.
He having a phenomenal season for Platoon. He has performed above his weight whether it’s about opening the attack or batting in the top order. He has a PPM of 54 and an MDTA of 1.4 in the tour
Russell and Bopara are main links for Royals whether it is in batting or bowling that’s where the side’s real strength lies. Apart from the last game, he has chipped in with at least a wicket every match. Adding to it, he is making the most use of the opportunity to bat in the top 4.
He is the top-rated player of the match with a PPM of 72 in the tour. It would have been even more if he batted a position or two above in the batting order in the first few games. In the bowling, it seems he is getting only better.
