Rangers look to capitalize against an under-performing Royals
Rangers have found some momentum in the later half of the tournament with back to back wins and that too comprehensively. Rangers bowlers have been the main reason behind the success of Rangpur’s Mustafizur and Lewis Gregory who have bagged 12 wickets and 11 wickets respectively. Gregory especially has been special for Rangers with the bat as well, by scoring 196 runs in this tournament. Mohammad Naim continues to impress with the bat for Rangers, he is the highest run scorer with 269 with two half-centuries to his name.
The Royals are in need of a grouping as they are coming off consecutive defeats, that too deflating ones. In the previous match, they lost by 47 runs and prior to that, they lost by 74 runs. Everything was in place for the Royals till the last two matches where both their bowlers and batsmen failed to contribute. Three of their batsmen have scored over 200 runs this season, which shows they are no pushovers.
