Khulna Tigers look to rectify last year’s breakdown

After a horrible 2018/19 season of BPL, Khulna will be looking to rectify themselves. Khulna will be led by the experienced Mushfiqur Rahim who is coming on the back of a good T20I series against India. Chattogram skipper Mahmudullah missed the first match against Sylhet but is expected to come back in the second match. Challengers kicked off their 2019/20 season of BPL with a convincing win while chasing.

 

The explosive wicket-keeper batsman from Afghanistan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz is at the top of the PPM list among batsmen with 58.0. Ryan Burl is next in the line of batsmen with 55.6 and MDTA of 1.25 in the last five T20 matches. Mahmudullah, who missed the first match is at a PPM of 39.8 and MDTA of 1.67 in the last 5 T20s.

 

Rubel Hossain in the last five T20s has a PPM of 70.0 which is the best among all the players from both sides. Aminul Islam, the young leg spinner who made a name for himself against India is next in the line of bowlers with a PPM of 45.0 and closely behind is Shafiul Islam with 44.8

Chattogram played their first match in the absence of their appointed skipper Mahmudullah, and Imad Wasim also didn’t feature in the XI. Their return is expected in the second match

The chasing team fell short by 100 odd runs in the evening match at Dhaka. The pacers picked up more wickets than the spinners.

Mushfiqur Rahim

The pocket dynamo batsman has had a good series against India recently helping Bangladesh register their first win in T20I against India with an unbeaten 60. He would look to continue his rhythm that he gained in that series. Mushfiqur is one of the most experienced players of Bangladesh, in the last five T20s he has a PPM of 35.4 with an MDTA of 1.0 that means he has been a part of the dream team in each of the last five matches that he has played.

 

 

Rahmanullah Gurbaz

The Afghan wicket-keeper had a good series against the West Indies by scoring a good half-century in the third T20I that helped them seize the series. Among the batsmen from both sides, Gurbaz has the best PPM value of 58.0. His PPM suggests the kind of form he is in and he will be a hot pick in the fantasy team.

 

 

Aminul Islam

He is another young leg spinner for Bangladesh who is raising up the ranks. He came into limelight in the series against India and is expected to feature in the fantasy team. He has PPM of 45.0 in the last five T20s.

 

 

Shafiul Islam

The right arm pacer has had excellent last few games, he has a PPM of 44.8 and will be another choice for the fantasy team.

 

 

Rubel Hossain

All eyes will be on Rubel Hossain who has the ability to deliver big. He has a PPM of 70.0 in the last five T20s and has an MDTA of 1.0, which means he has been a part of the dream team in all the recent five matches that he has played in.
