Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) vs Barbados Tridents (BAR)

Barbados seeks to make its last chance count to finish in top 2

Both Trinbago Knight Riders and Barbados Tridents are in the playoffs. Now it’s all about finishing in the top 2 of the table. Knight Riders with 9 points from 8 games need to win at least one game in the remaining two games to join Guyana Amazon Warriors. While Barbados Tridents are only left with one game with 8 points from 9 games. In order to finish in the Top 2 they need to win against the Tridents, also the Tridents have to lose their last league match. Tridents have won their last two games whereas Knight Riders have lost two of the last three games which could well play in hands of Tridents if they continue their winning momentum.

Narine likely to be back for TKR

Sunil Narine who missed the last match is likely to return into the Playing XI for Knight Riders. Barbados will mostly stick with their winning combination.

Another high scoring game on the cards

The surface in Trinidad has produced high scoring games this season where the average score of teams that bat first in the season is around 170. So expect another high scoring game on the cards.

Must have players

Kieron Pollard

He has been the most consistent performer for Knight Riders in the season. He has scored at least 40 runs or chipped in with a wicket or two in the last five matches. He has a PPM of 64 and MDTA of 1.14 in the season which makes him a must-have in the Dream11 cricket team.

Shakib Al Hasan

He has continued the good work from where he left in the recently concluded Tri-Series. He has come up with an all-round performance in the first two games of the season where he has a PPM of 74.5 in the tour.

Jason Holder

Barbados captain has proved to be one of the consistent performers for the side in the tour. He has a PPM of 50 and MDTA of 1.25 which makes him one of the most sought after players in the match.

Hayden Walsh

Playing only his second match, the young leg spinner has done wonders for Barbados in the season. He has been the choicest pick of bowlers for the side in the season. He has an impressive PPM of 89 in the tour and an MDTA of 1 which makes him the most sorted out bowler in the Dream11 cricket team.

X factor players / Big bets

Colin Munro

The Knight Riders’ overseas pro may not have come up with a big knock after just once, but he is a kind of player who doesn’t perform on a consistent basis. So with a few low scores on the back, there might be a big one coming at a venue where batsmen enjoy playing.
