St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SKN) Vs Barbados Tridents (BAR)

Will the Patriots continue the fireworks or can the Tridents stop them?

SKN started off with a couple of losses, had a dismal first half in their 3rd game as well. But some exceptional hitting from D Thomas and E Lewis made sure the second half and hence the game was theirs. They are up in the 3rd position as of now. They will look at their top order to win games for them again. BAR started off the tournament poorly with a huge loss to the Warriors. Their top order failed miserably and they will look to correct it tonight. SKN has a strong batting line-up. Their bowling has only let them down in the two games they lost. BAR has a good bowling line-up but they are heavily reliant on their openers to provide a good start as their middle order is slim and brittle.

Team News

SKN should play the same team as last night. BAR should in all probability also give the same team another go.

Pitch Report

The pitch has been a batting paradise. The average first innings score last season in 4 games was 185 and last night, 483 runs were scored in 38.5 overs.

Must have players

Evin Lewis

The blistering opener was just finding form in the first couple of games but went all guns blazing in the game last night. He is the kind of player that makes most out of good form.

Alex Hales

Though he started off the tournament poorly, he is coming off a few great innings in the Vitality Blast and you can expect him to come good tonight. The pitch will be his friend too.

Fabian Allen

He has already got three 30s in as many games in the tournament. His SR is a whooping 208.33 so far and he also has 2 wickets to his name.

X factor players / Big bets

Laurie Evans

After a really successful Vitality Blast, he joined the Patriots. He has been in terrific form, scoring 210 runs in his last 6 innings at an average of 93.33 and SR of 136.36. He also started off his CPL with a 20 ball 41.

Notable Misses

Jason Mohammed

The middle-order batsman has been in terrible form and was about to be dropped for Laurie Evans but Ottley was preferred to sit out. His last 5 innings read – 0, 4, 0, 6 and 2*. He might get a last chance or might even be dropped tonight.
