Date & Time: Thursday, August 27, 03:00 IST
Venue: Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad, Port of Spain, West Indies
In the second match of Wednesday’s doubleheader, Barbados Tridents face Jamaica Tallawahs at the Queen’s Park Oval. Tallawahs may have lost two out of four games played so far but they have performed better than what the points table reflects. On the other hand, Tridents lost 3 matches in a row after their victory in their opening match of the season. The Tallawahs seems to be a superior side than Tridents at the moment, both on paper and in terms of performance as well. Hence it will be an uphill task to pose a challenge for Tridents especially considering their lack of quality batsmen.

The Queen’s Park Oval has behaved to its true nature on its first day by offering enough assistance for spinners. Expect for nothing different on the second match at the venue. Packing the team with spinners and batsmen who can handle it is the way to go in this match.
After a slow start to the season, he has found his groove in the last two games. His aggressive approach in the middle order is key for Jamaica. He is certainly a must-have in today’s match given his MDTA of 1.33 in the tour.
The Afghani spinner has been impressive from day one of this season. He has been chipping in with wickets in every match played so far. Given he is operating in a crucial phase of an innings, he is a must in every fantasy team. He can be tried as a Captain too in the SL team.
You can’t build a team without the leggie considering his record in the format. In the tour, he has been the stand out bowler for Barbados. He has PPM of close to 50 and an MDTA of 1.33 in the tour.
In the four matches played in the tour, he has got a start, and only on one occasion, he has converted it to big. He is that kind of player who can covert the start into big anytime. So he’s a worthy option to consider as a captain option in Grand League.
