Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents two teams which have gone through a similar up and down season so far face-off for the first time in the tournament. Guyana needs at least two victories to finish in the top 4 and Barbados, on the other hand, need more than two victories. So this is going to be a crucial match for both sides as there are only 3 matches reaming each for both the teams in the tournament.

The surface at Brain Lara Stadium has produced sporting games so far in the tournament with the average score covering around 145. Bowlers had the upper hand in the past week games played in the season so expect the same this week as well.
The Afghani spinner may not have set the tournament on fire but he has been consistent throughout with chipping in with at least a wicket or two. His average performance is due to the way batsman played him safe but he still found ways to make inroads.
The Barbados Skipper has been the most consistent performer of the side in the tournament. His all-round ability has been impressive compared with the previous seasons where he used to score points only with the ball. He has PPM of 54 and an MDTA of 1.14 in the tour.
The veteran spinner has been consistent as ever with his performances so far in the tour. Given he is operating in a crucial phase of an innings with the ball we expect him to be amongst the wickets in this match as well.
After his back to back half-centuries in the opening two games of the season, he is yet to replicate the same form. Given the tournament moves back to Brian Lara Stadium we expect him to be back amongst the runs.
He has always come up with some points in every match played either with bat or ball. But he is not one of those players who can be among the top 5 performers in any given natch. The match-winning performances are likely to be inconsistent so we didn’t pick as C or VC in our SL team.
