Date & Time: Saturday, September 05, 19:30 IST
Venue: Brian Lara Stadium, Trinidad, Tarouba, West Indies
In the penultimate day of the CPL 2020 group stage, Trinbago Knight Riders play against St Lucia Zouks. The Knight Riders are at the top of the table and are unfazed by any opposition or situation so far in the tournament. The table-toppers have the depth and personnel to go even further given their impressive performance both with bat and ball. On the other side, the Zouks are heavily reliant on specific players to get the job done and their inconsistent batting has been an issue in the tournament. The Zouks need to bat out of their skin to pose a challenge for the mighty Knight Riders.
Lendl Simmons, Sunil Narine, Colin Munro, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard (c), Tim Seifert (wk), Akeal Husein, Dwayne Bravo, Khary Pierre, Jayden Seales, Fawad Ahmed.
Rahkeem Cornwall, Andre Fletcher (wk), Leniko Boucher, Roston Chase, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Javelle Glenn, Daren Sammy (c), Scott Kuggeleijn, Kesrick Williams, Chemar Holder
The surface at Brian Lara Stadium has proved to be a tough place for batting apart from a couple of games. The average score of the first innings in this week’s matches has been around 130. So expect another tough day for batting and pack the fantasy team with as many bowling options as possible.
He may have played only four matches in the tournament but he came up with match-defining performances. His PPM of 90 and an MDTA of 1 makes him a must-have in any fantasy team.
He is the most consistent performer for Zoucks in the season. He is the go-to bowler for the side and has also been a handy contributor with the bat. He has a PPM of almost 70 and an MDTA of 1.14 in the tour.
He has missed the last game due to a niggle but he is expected to be back for this match. He is not far away from Nabi when it comes to being consistent in the season. He has a PPM of 62 and MDTA of 1.17 in tour.
He has come back into form at the very crucial phase of the tournament which will be an added bonus for the unbeaten Knight Riders. But you never know when he will repeat his impressive performance from the last game.
He is in decent form in the tour and has a good record at the venue. But given he is a left-handed batsman and the Zouks have surplus off-spin options we didn’t opt him for Captain or Vice-Captain option in our team.
