In the second of Saturday’s doubleheader, Jamaica Tawallahs takes on Barbados Tridents in their final match of the season. The defending champions could only manage two wins in 9 matches played so far. On the other hand, the Tawallahs are set to make it into the top 4 with 7 points from 8 matches. Now it’s all about where they finish in the points table. Given how inconsistent they have been so far in the season especially with the bat, the Tawallahs need some redemption in order to go all the way into the finals.

The surface at Brian Lara Stadium has been on the slower side for the most part of the tournament. Since it will be the second match of the day expect the surface to be even slower. Picking as many bowling options as possible in the fantasy team is a given in this match as it is the case so far in the tournament.
He is the most consistent batsman for Tawalahs in the season where he scored at a PPM of 52 in the tour. He also has impressive stats at the venue where he has a PPM of 55 and an MDTA of 1.33 in 4 matches played.
The Jamaican allrounder has not been at his best in the tour yet he scored at a PPM of 62. Given it is the crucial phase of the tournament we expect him to bat up the order and showcase his best.
One can’t build a fantasy team without Barbados captain given his consistency in the tour. He has a PPM of 51 and an MDTA of 1.29 in 9 matches played so far. He has made sure that he performed at least with the bat or ball in every match.
He is the leading wicket-taker for Jamaica in the season with 13 wickets from 8 games. His PPM of 72 and an MDTA of 1.25 in the last 5 matches makes him the top pick of the match.
He has underperformed to his credentials in the tour with the ball but he made sure to compensate it with some handy runs. When these two sides met earlier in the season he has cane up with 90 points and we expect him to be amongst the top performers in this encounter as well.
In the last 5 matches, he has been among the top performers for the side. Even though we didn’t opt him for the captain or vice-captain choice in our SL team given there are other more reliable options than him in this encounter.
