There isn’t any significance for this contest but both teams will look to get their Playing XI right ahead of the semi-finals, which would give an easy pass to the final of the CPL 2020. As the semi-final slots are already fixed, both teams have no tension about the result of the game but the captains of both sides will look at the performances of a few players to make a call for the final game. For a normal cricket fan, who loves to watch T20 cricket, there are quite a few renowned players going into this game to make it a worthy watch.
Rahkeem Cornwall, Andre Fletcher (wk), Leniko Boucher, Roston Chase, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Javelle Glenn, Daren Sammy (c), Scott Kuggeleijn, Kesrick Williams, Chemar Holder
Glenn Phillips (wk), Nkrumah Bonner, Jermaine Blackwood, Asif Ali, Rovman Powell (c), Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Veerasammy Permaul, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Sandeep Lamichhane, Fidel Edwards
It hasn’t been easy for batsmen throughout the tournament where the surfaces are on the slower side. As we reached the end of the season we might see even more struggle. Packing the team with as many bowling options as possible is the way to go.
Without any further thoughts, Andre Russell has to be your first player on the fantasy XI. He has come into his zone and delivering goods on a consistent basis. Besides that, he started to come at number 4 for his side, which makes him a must-have player. He has got PPM of 69 in the last five games.
Philips might have failed to create an impact with his pinch-hitting but surely, he made a difference with his run-scoring. He is scoring runs at below par strike rate but, in the meantime, he always ensured to put runs on the board. From the fantasy points of view, he is a must-have player. He has got PPM of 48 in this tour.
Yet another player, who has been exceptional throughout this tournament. He is not only delivering with the ball but also scoring runs with the bat, which makes him a must-have for this contest. Further, he has PPM of 65 in this tour.
Cornwall is our big bet for this contest. He came into his zone in the second half of the season, and he is expected to deliver big today. He also started to bowl in the middle-overs, which makes him a good choice to have as a big bet.
It is unfortunate that we had to miss Kesrick Williams but the team combination and excellent performance of Kuggleijn in the recent past has made him stay away from our fantasy XI for this contest.
