Scotland (SCO) Vs Oman (OMN)

Both sides want to finish on a high

In the playoff for the 5th place, Scotland and Oman clash of each other to find a slot at the bottom two in the top 6. This will be the first time both sides play each other in the tournament. Both sides have to go through hardship in order to finally finish in the top 6, the victories in playoff 3 and 4 might give the teams a much-needed boost to end the tournament on a high. The contest will be decided on how Scotland will tackle Oman’s bowling as Oman doesn’t have a strong batting lineup and Scotland possesses an all-round unit.

Winning combination is the way to go

Both sides are likely to stick with their winning combination.

Sporting wicket likely to be in the store

The surface in Dubai seems to have slowed down a touch in the last couple days but it hasn’t been difficult to bat on compared with other venues in the tournament.

Must have players

George Munsey

He is Mr. Consistent for Scotland in the tournament as he piled on runs and finds himself among top run-scorers on the tour. His blistering 65 in the last game helped the side to post a good total on the board. He has a PPM of over 40 and an MDTA of 1.4 on the tour.

Safyaan Sharif

He is one among the most consistent bowlers of the tournament with 13 wickets from 7 matches played. He is probably the only bowler to have an MDTA of 1 with at least 5 matches played in the tournament. His PPM which is in 60’s make him the first player in the Dream11 team for today’s match.

Mark Watt

He may have missed on a couple of games at the start of the tournament but ever since he has come into the side he has shown why Scotland should have had him at the start. He has PPM close to 60 and has an MDTA of 1.2 on the tour which makes him a must-have in today’s match.

Bilal-Khan

He is at the top when it comes to wicket-takers of the tournament where he has picked 16 wickets from 8 matches played. He has a PPM of over 60 and an MDTA of 1.3 on the tour which makes him the most sought after player in the Dream11 cricket team.

Jatinder Singh

In the last match, he has shown why Oman relies heavily on him with the bat. He has single handedly taken on the Hong Kong attack when most batsmen struggled to lay a bat. He has a PPM in high 40’s and an MDTA of 1.6 on the tour.

Khawar-Ali

He hasn’t been at his consistent best with the bat but when it comes to bowling he is right up there with B Khan for Oman. He has an impressive PPM of 65 and an MDTA of 1.14 on the tour which makes him a must-have in the Dream11 cricket team for today’s match.
