United Arab Emirates (UAE) Vs Hong Kong (HK)

Sloppy Hong Kong up against inspired UAE

Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates clash of each other in Abu Dhabi in what will be their third match of the tournament. The hosts after losing the first match miserably to Oman have bounced back against Ireland with a spirited performance. Hong Kong, on the other hand, has lost both games against the same opposition UAE played. Now UAE which has bounced back in the last match will be licking lips to take on sloppy Hong Kong as they face tougher opposition later on.

Team News

Both sides are unlikely to tinker with the playing XI of their respective last games.

Another hard day’s work for batsmen

The surface in Abu Dhabi has been slow and it has given a hard time to the batsmen. So expect nothing different for Monday’s contest as well.

Must have players

Aizaz Khan

He may have a decent PPM of 32 in the tournament but he is yet to come up with his best. He has got a good start in the first match but couldn’t make it in the second match, he did not even cross the 10-run mark. Now, with the team starving for a win, he has to be at his best to have any chance of defeating UAE. He has a PPM of 42 and an MDTA of 1.6 in the format.

Kinchit Shah

Irrespective of how results have gone for Hong Kong, he has been the most consistent player in the side. After his brisk 79 in the first match, he chipped in with a wicket in the second and also proved to be economical. He has a PPM of 71 in the tournament.

Rohan Mustafa

He has stood tall for UAE in the absence of a few key players in the side. After a decent start in the first match, he has come up with a match-defining performance in the second. His PM of 86 and MDTA of 1.25 makes him a must-have.

Ahmed Raza

The left-arm spinner hasn’t gone wicketless in the last four matches in the format. In the tournament, he has a PPM of 37 and an MDTA of 1 which makes him a worthy pick in the Dream11 cricket team.
