Hong Kong (HK) Vs Jersey (JER)

Jersey seek to cash in on Hong Kong’s poor form

The team from Jersey has been a surprise as they find a place in the Qualifiers. They are showing why they were here with two wins from 3 games played so far. With last night’s win against the hosts, they have certainly made a big statement to the other teams in Group B. Now they face Hong Kong, which is yet to find a win in the tournament. The team from Hong Kong hasn’t shown any signs of competitiveness, unlike their determination in the previous editions. Another loss on Wednesday will place them in the last position of the table in their group.

Team News

Hong Kong might consider bringing in a few changes to alter the combination and fate of the team. On the flip side, there is no necessity for Jersey to change their winning combination.

Batting not that tough at night

The surface at Abu Dhabi has been a tricky one so far in the tournament as the surface proved to be a touch easier for batsmen in the night games than the afternoon ones. So expect a sporting track for tonight’s contest.

Must have players

Kinchit Shah

He is the leading run-scorer for the side in the tournament and he is the most consistent performer for Hong Kong. He has a PPM of close to 60 and an MDTA of 1 in the matches that he has played.

Benjamin Ward

The Jersey all-rounder has come up with decent performances in the 3 matches played so far. In the last game, his knock helped the team to chase the target with ease after the early fall of wickets. He has a PPM of 72 and an MDTA of 1 in the last 2 games.

Harrison Carlyon

He may not have come up with good starts every time at the top but he has compensated by picking wickets. He has a PPM of 47 and an MDTA of 1.67 in the last 5 matches played which makes him a worthy pick to consider in the fantasy team.

Jonty Jenner

He has been the most consistent batsman of the side in the tournament where he has come up at least one 20+ score. His great form allows other batsmen to play their natural game. He has a PPM of 56 and an MDTA of 1 in the last two games.
