A chance for the Warriors to spoil the Tigers’ party
HT was at the bottom of the table a couple of games back but are now placed well at number 3. Probably just a win away from making it to the top 4. MW is all but out of the tournament. They are just playing for pride and also will be looking to spoil other parties. HT has a lot of experience, skill and variety in their bowling but their batting was letting them down. In the last couple of games, their batting has come good and they now look very solid. For MW, the top order has scored the bulk of the runs but without any support from the middle order batsmen and the bowlers.
HT should retain the same XI. You can expect a few changes from MW as they have only a couple of matches to go.
The wicket at Mysuru has been a slow one in the past. The spinners usually get some purchase. The short boundaries may interest the batsmen though.
Still the highest run getter in the tournament. Even though his team has not done too well, he has been a shining star with 199 runs in 3 innings.
The veteran had a hiccup a couple of matches back but gained his form back with a 2/18 vs the Bulls in his last game. He is also capable of smashing a few boundaries if needed.
The all-rounder has been bowling really tight overs in the middle for the Tigers and also scored some important runs quickly. He has been really consistent in both aspects as well.
The all-rounder has been under par in the tournament so far. One would argue he didn’t get enough opportunities but he really has struggled after the first game. A short break might help him gain back the confidence and do the damage that he is capable of doing.
