Both sides seek to improve after contrasting results
The last season’s semi-finalists Hubli Tigers haven’t had a great start to the season as they lost to Shivamogga Lions convincingly even after scoring 154. On the flip side, Bellary Tuskers who finished at the penultimate position in the previous season has made a great start to the season by defending 144 runs. So after contrasting results in their respective opening match of the season, both teams will seek to improve, as they face-off each other in the first match of Monday’s doubleheader in Bengaluru.
Both the teams are likely to stick with the same Playing XI to that of the last match.
This will be the sixth match to be played in the season at Chinnaswamy stadium. So we expect the surface to be on the slower side even though it is known to be good for batting. The forecast is for rain throughout the day which is likely to make the game a shortened one.

In the side’s opening match in KPL, he just continued from where he left in the Caribbean by chipping with a couple of wickets and handy runs. So there is every chance he will continue the same in today’s match as well.

He has already started the good work in this season with a much-needed half-century for Hubli Tigers which is the very reason that makes him a must-have in today’s match.
He was the second-highest wicket-taker in the previous season with 11 wickets from 6 games. In this season he may have started off slowly with the only wicket in the opening match, but he is gonna be the main for Bellary Tuskers as the season progress and the surfaces start to turn more.
