A chance to open the wins account for both teams
Both teams are coming off a loss in their previous game. The Warriors’ first game was washed out as well which means they have no wins in 2 games. In such a short tournament, starting off well is so important. The Warriors and the Panthers will be looking for a much-needed win tonight. The last time these two teams met, MW pipped BP by a run! Contestants Outlook: BP have an array of batsmen, established ones too. Even if a couple of them fire, they can put up a big score. Their bowling is the weaker suit with just 5 recognized bowlers. MW, on the other hand, is well balanced with a couple of hitters at the top and a series of all-rounder to follow. They have a lot of options when it comes to bowling and batting.
There is some uncertainty around the availability of Manish Pandey. If he is available, he will really boost the batting of BP even more. MW should stick to the same team.
It has been a slightly slow wicket with some help for spinners. The batsmen who get in can score big given the small boundaries. The weather looks good for a full game tonight.
BP opener had a bad game a few days back but is sure to step and score big tonight. He has been a star in the previous two editions with the bat and his skills are known to many.
The MW opener scored a blistering 70 in the last game and showed us what he is capable off. He can single-handedly thrash a bowling attack and is a must-have.
The all-rounder has a lot of T20 experience including a stint in the IPL. He was instrumental in Karnataka’s win in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy earlier this year. His contribution with bat, ball and in the field is invaluable.
The veteran has been playing in the KPL since inception and is still going strong. He is batting at number 3 this season for MW and can roll his arm over as well. He has the knack of picking up big wickets.
