Durban hopes to find a win against the inconsistent Cape Town
Cape Town Blitz and Durban Heat may be at No.4 and 5 in the points table but there is a big gap between these two sides. The Heat is yet to register a win in the tournament and the Blitz has three under their belt. The Heat certainly finds themselves unlucky with three out of their five matches being washed out. But lack of depth in the batting is a big concern for them. On the other side, the Biltz may have won 3 games but also lost as many and failed to continue the winning momentum. Now it’s high time for Heat to find a win as one more loss might kick them out of the tournament and for Blitz, it’s about keeping the winning momentum intact.
Duban Heat possible XI:-
Alex Hales, Wesley Marshall, Wihan Lubbe, Dane Vilas(w/c), David Miller, Ravi Bopara, Andile Phehlukwayo, Shaun von Berg, Keshav Maharaj, Kyle Abbott, Malusi Siboto.
Cape Town Blitz possible XI:-

The surface in Cape Town has proved to be on the high scoring side in the two matches played. But Bowlers too had their say in those run fests. So we can expect the same for today’s match as well.
He is among the top 5 points scores in the tour with a PPM of 50 in 6 matches played so far. In those six games, he has provided the team with good starts on every occasion. Adding to it, he has also proved to be handy behind the stumps.
There are only a couple of handy internationals for Durban in the batting unit, one of them is Bopara. There were doubts whether he can continue his T20 Blast form in the tournament or not. But he has proved to be a consistent performer for the Heat in the two matches played. His PPM of 56 and MDTA of 1 in the tour makes him a must have in today’s game.
He may have taken his time to get into the rhythm at the start of the tour, but once he found it, he has been unstoppable. He has chipped in with a couple of wickets in each of the last 3 matches. His PPM of 47 in the tour makes him a worthy pick in today’s match.
He has complemented Steyn well with the change of spell every time he came to bowl. Apart from a single match, he has picked at least a wicket in the remaining. Adding to his credentials with the ball, he also proved to be decent on the field.
He may not be one of those bowlers who is known to be a regular in this format but in the last few months, he has proved otherwise. Leading into the tournament, he has come up with decent performances in T20 Blast. He has a PPM of 35.5 and MDTA of 1 in the tour.
