The Australian team is continuing the good work it has done in the recent times. They have won the first 2 ODIs against Pakistan convincingly, and they would like to take the momentum forward into the 3rd ODI as well to seal the Series. While on the other hand, Pakistan’s experimentation of few players for the World Cup has not gone well, as they failed to show the intent so far in the Series. It is high time for Pakistan to come good with the series on the line.
Traditionally a two-paced surface is prepared at Abu Dhabi, but considering the trend in the series another flat surface is expected on Wednesday to aid batsman. An overcast condition is expected for most part of the day, pacers might be aided by some movement in the air.
The Australian opener seems to have come back to his best after a poor form in recent past. He was the main man for Australia in the first two ODIs, where he came up with an impressive contribution of 91.5 points per match which is quite high compared to his overall 26.4 points contribution per match. So, he has to be in the team considering his form in the series.
He had come into the series with good form, and he is continuing the same through this series as well. He contributed 33 points per match, and his overall MDTA of 1.8 gives him a sure shot in the team.
The right arm pacer is in good nick in this series, as he came with a contribution of 25.5 points per match. He has to be the first choice bowler in the team, as he has an impressive MDTA of 1.3 in international matches, thus making him a part of the dream team in past two matches.
The Pakistan middle-order batsman is at his best form in this series. He was the lone warrior for his side with the bat. He has contributed 44 points per match in the series. Adding to his present form, he had made it to the dream team in both the matches, and he has an MDTA of 1.2 in international matches.
He may have had a quiet series against India, but he has let go of the past and put up a great show this series. He has made 32 points per match in this series so far.

The Australian off-spinner is slowly making his presence felt in ODIs. He came up with decent performances in this and in the previous series against India as well. Although with a change in venue and considering weather conditions for the 3rd ODI, Australia might just go with one spinner and rest him for this match.
The middle-order batsman was not in form of late, and in this series too, he is yet to make a mark. His captaincy responsibility could be causing additional stress on this fine cricketer.
MDTA: Matches per Dream team appearance. less the value more is the consistency of a player.
