Date & Time: Tuesday, September 15, 23:00 IST
Venue: Grace Road, Leicester, England
Well, it is one of those contests, where we see one team fighting it hard for the place in the next level of the tournament and the other team, who have nothing to loose but has the chance to play a spoilsport for the opposition. Yes, Leicestershire is the team, who are in desperate need of this win while Derbyshire has nothing to loose, as they are yet to register even a single victory in the tournament so far.
Derbyshire will once again rely on Madsen, Luis Reece and the bowlers while Leicestershire will hope their star player Delany to shine again. Supporting Delany, they also have Colin Ackermann and Arron Lilly, who can make a difference on their day. On the whole, it is going to be an interesting watch for many reasons.
Colin Ackermann (c), Arron Lilley, Harry Dearden, Gareth Delany, Lewis Hill (wk), Nick Welch, Harry Swindells, Ben Mike, Callum Parkinson, Gavin Griffiths, Will Davis
Billy Godleman (c), Luis Reece, Wayne Madsen, Leus du Plooy, Alex Hughes, Matthew Critchley, Anuj Dal, Harvey Hosein (wk), Matt McKiernan, Michael Cohen, Dustin Melton
Leicester has always been one of the high-scoring venues. We expect this clash to be same with both teams having some top-class batsmen. Fast bowlers will have a tough day at the office while spinners might yield some turn from the used pitches.
Without any second thoughs, Delany has to be on your teamsheet at any cost. He has been extraordinary in the season so far with a PPM of 86 to his name. His MDTA of 1.33 makes him a must-have for this contest.
Reece has to be on your side at any cost. He might have failed in the last few games but Reece has the burden of carrying the team in both sections of the game. Thus, we decided to go with him for one more time.
Lilley has been the find of the season. He has been extraordinary with his batting for Leicestershire. He carries PPM of 56 in the season so far, which tells you the story about his consistency.
Madsen finally scored a big knock for his side in the last game. We expect him to carry the same form in the upcoming clash as well. He has got PPM of 46 in the tournament so far.
He is our big miss today. Hughes has played well in the last game to appear in the dream team but we chose to leave him out for this contest, as there are other players who are in the front line with better stats.
