Venue: County Ground, Hove, England
Yet another top of the table clash is in store tonight. It is Sussex, the table-toppers, taking on Kent, who are placed second in the table. Sussex is yet to face a defeat while Kent is on the wrong side of things when it comes to luck factor.
Just before winning, rain god intervened to end the match with no result in their second game while in their third game, they failed to score 5 runs off 6 balls in the chase of 210. However, the team is motivated to make things happen.
Both teams have got brilliant stars in the name of Luke Wright, Philip Salt, David Wiese, Drummond and Bopara, which would make it an interesting clash tonight. It is also a bit tricky for the fantasy users to pick teams, as credits are going to be an issue, especially for small league teams.
No Changes are expected in both teams.
Zak Crawley, Daniel Bell-Drummond (c), Heino Kuhn, Alex Blake, Jack Leaning, Jordan Cox (wk), Grant Stewart, Tim Groenewald, Matt Milnes, Fred Klaassen, Imran Qayyum
Philip Salt (wk), Luke Wright (c), Harry Finch, Delray Rawlins, Ravi Bopara, David Wiese, George Garton, Ollie Robinson, Will Beer, Danny Briggs, Tymal Mills
The venue has the history of supporting the batsmen, with the ball coming on to the bat. Apart from that, shorter boundaries will make life tough for the bowlers. However, spinners will come into play as the game progresses.
He has been brilliant in the last game and one of the few players, who can single-handedly take the game away from the opposition. Wright has got PPM of 59 in this tournament and got great stats at this venue.
Drummond is the other key player, who will be on the show tonight. The flamboyant batsman is in fine nick and already scored a match-winning knock for his team. He has PPM of 62.6 in the last 5 games.
The all-rounder has been terrific in the last few games for his side. Not only with the ball but also with the bat, Wiese has been sensational for his team. The Proteas all-rounder is a big name tonight, especially, with such massive numbers.
Salt has been brilliant in the last couple of seasons and one step away from receiving a call-up. However, his form has dipped a bit in the ongoing tournament, which is why we are naming him as our big bet, because, once he gets the ball rolling, it will be a tough day for the opposition bowlers.
He was brilliant in the last game but unfortunately, we couldn’t add him in this lineup because of credit issues. Otherwise, Kuhn has got good experience and stats under his belt.
