Ruby Trichy Warriors (RUB) Vs Madurai Panthers (MAD)

Will the comeback man Murali Vijay help RTW post their first win?

Ruby Trichy Warriors are on the brink of finishing on the bottom half of the table and they cannot afford one more loss. Defending Champions Madurai Panthers haven’t started as well as they would have liked and they need this victory to have better chances for finishing in the top 4.

Team News

The return of their best batsman Murali Vijay will bolster the team heavily as none of the other batsmen have even reached the 30’s score in the first three matches. K Mukunth is likely to face the axe. All rounder Akash Sumra didn’t make any significant contributions so far for Madurai Panthers and we might see him make way for someone else sooner or later.

Pitch Report

The last match at Dindigul was the record breaking 13-overs-a-side contest where we witnessed the maximum number of sixes scored in a TNPL match. Another high scoring contest can be expected.

Must have players

Murali Vijay

He is a vital cog in the batting lineup of Ruby Trichy Warriors with some prolific names missing out of action. He was among the top run-getters for the side in the previous few seasons. His magnificent knock in his previous game almost helped RTW to get over the line but they eventually lost the game in a tense super over game against Karaikudi Kaalai.

Arun Karthik

Leading run scorer of the third edition of TNPL with 472 runs from 10 matches at an average of 78.66 is a must have pick in your Dream11 team. He has been consistent in his entire TNPL career and has also scored 6 half centuries in the last edition of TNPL.

Jagatheesan Kousik

The pace bowling all rounder has started the season poorly but has come back strongly in the last couple of games. He has picked up a couple of wickets with his economical bowling and also scored some lusty blows with the bat coming in at number 4 or 5.
