VBK’s loss to DIN last night has given TUT a ray of hope to qualify for the playoffs. They need to win both their games and win it comfortably to qualify. A win tonight will result in a 3-way tie among VBK, LYC and TUT. RUB on the other hand are out of the tournament and are just playing for pride. They could spoil a few parties if they can win their remining fixtures. Contestants Outlook A few injuries and unavailability of some players has haunted the Warriors. Their over reliance of M Vijay to score runs and Sai Kishore to pick up wickets have played a part in where they are in the points table at the moment. TUT are top heavy and that is their weakness as well as strength. Their bowling is really coming together with the likes of A Davidson and G Moorthi getting back into form. If the batting comes together, they will look like a better side.
TUT registered a huge win in their previous game and got their batting and bowling line-ups spot on. There should not be any changes in their team. RUB have nothing to lose and they may look to give opportunities to some of the players who have been warming the bench.
The same pitch as last night will be used and it looked like a belter though both teams made it look a little harder than expected. If you get in, you should make full use of it.
To go with his reputation, he has had scores of 81, 78* and 99 in his three TNPL innings this season. Nobody will be surprised if he puts up a show tonight as well.

The TUT skipper picks himself in most teams with the form that he is in. Effortlessly clearing boundaries with good cricketing shots and brute force combined. Most runs for his team this season and is a must have.
The all-rounder has added so much balance to the Patriots with his leg spin and some useful runs in the middle order. He has consistently picked up wickets and also showed us that he can bat, in the last game.
V Athisayaraj Davidson
The right arm quick with a slingy action has been the reason behind his team doing well in the past. Even with TUT, he was their second highest wicket taker in 2017 and they eventually went on to become the runner-up that year. After a poor start to this season, he has found some form now.
A consistent performer for Karaikudi Kaalai over the last few seasons, has failed to make an impact this season. He has scored 44 runs and has not bowled yet this season. With all his experience, he is expected to come back with a bang.
