Leicestershire (LEI) Vs Nottinghamshire (NOT)

Will Leicestershire end the losing streak?

After their loss in the opening match to Worcestershire, Nottinghamshire has bounced back with one victory after another in the following two matches. On the other side, Leicestershire is yet to register a win in the tournament as they lost two matches so far in the tournament out of 3, and one of them was washed out. So it’s high time for Leicestershire to fight back against Nottinghamshire, as teams can get lost quickly in the fast paced tournament.

Team News

Nottinghamshire Possible XI: Joe Clarke, Alex Hales, Ben Duckett, Jake Libby, Tom Moores (WK), Samit Patel, Dan Christian (C), Imad Wasim, Harry Gurney, Matthew Carter/Luke wood, Jake Ball.

Leicestershire Possible XI: Mark Cosgrove, Harry Dearden, Neil Dexter, Arron Lilley, Colin Ackermann (C), Lewis Hill (WK), Ben Mike, Dieter Klein, Callum Parkinson, Aadil Ali, Chris Wright.

Pitch & Conditions

The surface at Trent Bridge is known for producing high scoring games and it is the case in this tournament as well. There is a forecast for rain during the match which might make the game a shortened one.

Must have players

Alex Hales

He makes the most use of the tournament to make his comeback into the England limited-overs set-up. He is the third-highest run-getter at present in the tournament. He has scored two half-centuries in the three matches played so far. His present form makes him a must-have player for today’s match in the Dream11 cricket team.

Harry Gurney

He may have started the season slowly but he has come into his own with the performance in the previous match where he picked a five-fer. He currently holds the second position in the wicket charts of the tournament with 9 wickets from 3 games. Today his presence will be even more crucial for the Notts as Trentbridge offers more for bowlers with variations.

Colin Ackermann

The Leicestershire Captain has continued from where he left off in the country circuit prior to the tournament. He has been a consistent performer for the side in the season as he comes up with an all-round show when the team needs it the most. There is every chance he will continue the same form as the side is yet to register a win.
