Bangladesh (BAN) vs Zimbabwe (ZIM)

Last chance for Zimbabwe to win a match in the tour

After being thrashed by Bangladesh in ODIs, Zimbabwe failed to show any fight in the T20Is. Bangladesh dominated proceedings once again. Now the visitors have the last chance to win a game in the tour as the second T20I is set to take place on Wednesday.

Team News

Both sides are likely to stick with the same XI from the last match.

Bangladesh possible XI
Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Mahedi Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahmudullah (c), Afif Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Saifuddin, Aminul Islam, Shafiul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman

Zimbabwe possible XI
Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Craig Ervine, Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams (c), Sikandar Raza, , Wesley Madhevere, Richmond Mutumbami (wk), Donald Tiripano, Tinotenda Mutombodzi, Carl Mumba, Chris Mpofu

Pitch Report

Dhaka has produced a good batting strip in the first T20I by offering enough assistance for bowlers as well. So expect the same in the final match of the tour as well.

Must have players

Liton Das

He seems to be loving playing against Zimbabwe. He has scored a couple of centuries and a half-century in the four matches played in the tour. Given the lack of penetration in Zimbabwe bowling expect another 50+ score from the opening batsman in the last T20I as well.

Tamim Iqbal

The experienced pro is making the most use of his good form against Zimbabwe. He is only second to Das when it comes to runs scored by batsmen in the tour. Apart from the first T20I, he also has a couple of 20+ scores against the visitors in the format.

Wesley Madhavere

The 19-year-old is the only positive for Zimbabwe in the tour. He has come up with all-round performances and proved to be a worthy pick in all the matches played in the tour.

Mustafizur Rahman

He has lived up to the record against Zimbabwe in the first T20I by chipping in with 3 wickets. He has brought down the late fightback of Zimbabwe in the chase. We expect him to come up with his average PPM of 57 in the last match as well.
