Expert Review of India (IND) Vs Pakistan (PAK)

India makes history against arch-rivals Pakistan

It was once again the same old story in Manchester. India, still continuing to follow their winning streak against nemesis Pakistan, is now standing at 7-0 in the World Cup. All the build-up to the marquee match of the World Cup turned out to be a one-sided affair. It all started with Rohit’s smashing century at the top and ended with Kuldeep magic spell with the ball. Having won the toss and electing to bowl first, Pakistan bowlers struggled to find line and length, which the Indian batsmen capitalized on throughout the innings to post a mammoth target on the board. Later chasing the target, Pakistan seemed like they were in the game for the first 20 overs, after which wickets fell at regular intervals, resulting in a defeat for the seventh time against India in the World Cup.

FD Players Performance
Players who performed well

Rohit Sharma

He has continued the good form from where he left against Australia a week ago. This time he was aggressive from the outset, unlike the other day. It resulted in putting Pakistan bowlers under tremendous pressure. His partnerships with Rahul and Virat helped India to post 336 runs on the board. He was the top point scorer in the match with 86 fantasy points.

Virat Kohli

He hasn’t disappointed Dream11 fantasy cricket players in the match as he came up with his average point contribution. He may have been slow to start off his innings, but once he got set in he unleashed the beast within, through the death overs. He made 46 fantasy points in the match.

Hardik Pandya

He was not at his usual best with the bat at the end of the innings, but he compensated it by picking a couple of wickets in the second innings. He dismissed the experienced batsmen Hafeez and Malik in consecutive deliveries which in turn put more pressure on the batsmen who followed them. He made 41 fantasy points.

Mohammad Amir

He was the choicest pick of the bowlers for Pakistan once again, as he continued the good form from where he left against Australia. He dismissed the well set Virat who seemed to take the game even further from Pakistan. His spell in the powerplay was the only highlight of the match for Pakistan. He made 40 points in the match.

Players who didn’t Perform

Shoaib Malik

He proved to be the biggest disappointment for Dream11 fantasy cricket players. He neither scored runs in the chase nor contributed anything in the field in the first innings. His golden duck put enormous pressure on batsmen who followed next.

He failed to continue his good form from the last match, in which he had given his team a good start. This time around he was dismissed quite early in the chase which proved to be costly for Dream11 fantasy cricket players. He made only 6 points in the match.
