India knocks Bangladesh out of the tournament and enters semifinals
The contest between India and Bangladesh felt like it was a scripted event as the Bangla tigers once again failed to cross the line after a spirited effort just like the case in World Cup 2015, WT20 2016 and the Champions Trophy 2017. It was once again Rohit who came up with a century and his wicket proved to be too costly for Bangladesh as India made 314. Whiles chasing the target Bangladesh was not out of the contest until Shakib was at the crease but his wicket proved to be too much to handle for lower middle order batsmen against a quality Indian attack.
Bangladesh and Rohit seem to be a never-ending love story as he once again capitalized on the early luck given to him and came up with the fourth century of the tournament. His partnership with Rahul at the top of the order gave India a solid start and it proved to be game-changing in the end as the middle and lower middle order batsmen couldn’t make the most use of it. He made 66.5 fantasy points and proved to be a worthy pick for Dream11 fantasy cricket players.
He once again continued his good form against India as he came up with a second five-wicket haul. If not for his impressive spell India would have posted close to 340 on the board. He picked the vital wickets of Kohli, Hardik, and Dhoni at crucial stages. He was the top point scorer of the Dream11 cricket team with 70 points in the match.
Shakib Al Hasan
He did whatever he can to chase the target down, but with no big partnerships from other batsmen, his efforts went in vain. In the first half of the match, he also proved to be economical when runs flew from other bowlers in the middle overs. He came up with an all-round show and proved to be a worthy pick for fantasy cricket players.
He finally got the reward for his good bowling in the tournament. He was not amongst the wickets in the previous matches as batsmen played him safe but this time around he broke the pattern by picking four wickets in the match. He cleaned up the lower middle order with his furious Yorkers and slower balls as they seemed to drag the game deep. He made 54 fantasy points.
He continued his poor form in the tournament against India as well in such a crucial match. His poor bowling had lifted the pressure built by other bowlers and it made him depend on the part-timers to get the job done. He made only 6 fantasy points in the match.
We were decent with our predictions in the match. We missed out on a couple of top performers in our best grand league team, otherwise, we got most of the players from the dream team. We hope to provide even more accurate predictions in upcoming matches.
