Dream11 IPL Match 21: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Date & Time: Sunday, 7th April; 08:00pm IST

Venue: Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur

Two teams with contrasting fortunes so far in IPL 2019 are set to clash in the second game of the double header today. Both the teams have played good brand of cricket, but clearly Andre Russell was the difference for the dissimilarity.

Team News

Sanju Samson is set to return for this game after missing out the previous game due to a small injury. Other than that, not many changes are expected for this match from both sides.

Pitch Report

The long boundaries in Sawai Mansingh Stadium and a good wicket will ensure equal importance between bat and ball. 184 and 154 runs were scored by teams batting first here in IPL 2019 and we can expect a score around 160-170 mark today.

Players to watch out for

Andre Russell

Irrespective of conditions, opposition, venue, and all other possible factors which can influence someone’s batting, Andre Russell has been dismantling bowlers all over the park. He is easily the MVP of the season so far. Last year, when he faced RR bowling attack, he smashed 49* off 25 balls.

Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler has been in a phenomenal run scoring touch at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, and his recent form is also good. But he has been dismissed by certain bowlers repeatedly in IPL and one such bowler is Kuldeep Yadav. Jos Buttler has been dismissed by the Chinaman bowler twice in 20 balls and has scored only 19 runs. He has very low strike rate (88.24) against Sunil Narine too recently.

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik has scored only 50 so far this season and this is very low according to his standards. A big score is due from him and what better occasion to do than against his favorite RR bowling attack. He has not been dismissed by any of the bowlers in current RR line up and has scored 84 runs in 54 balls.

Piyush Chawla

Piyush Chawla has been bowling some useful overs and has been amongst the wickets in IPL 2019. He has not gone wicketless in all the last 5 games he has played here, so expect him to take at least 1 wicket today.

Kuldeep Yadav

The young wrist spinner has come out on top against the likes of Jos Buttler, Ajinkya Rahane, who he has dismissed twice. Even Ben Stokes has been dismissed by him once. The big outfield, and some turn and bounce in the wicket will help him immensely.
