Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)

The Sunrisers Hyderabad made sure there was a no ‘win it all’ situation for them, as they comfortably won by 45 runs against KXIP on Monday. Having lost the toss and put to bat first, the Sunrisers responded tremendously with a great opening partnership and continued the same into the middle overs with a few other strong partnerships. At the end, it seemed like they had lost their way, but by that time they had already got enough runs on the board. While chasing an above par total, KXIP never looked like they were in control of the game, as their circumspect approach early in the chase hurt them in the end.

FD Players Performance
Players who performed well

David Warner

Playing his last game of the season, Warner had finished on a high with another significant contribution for the team. He had given a flying start for the Sunrisers in the powerplay alongside Saha and then continued through the middle overs to post a good target on the board. He had certainly lived up to the expectations of Dream11 fantasy cricket players with his contribution of 52 points in this IPL match.

Lokesh Rahul

He is the only batsman from KXIP who had come up with a big knock in the huge chase. But it was also one of the reasons for KXIP’s defeat on Monday, as Rahul took too many deliveries upfront to get going. By the time he started smashing, the run-rate was high. But when it comes to Dream11 fantasy cricket, he didn’t disappoint any fantasy player, as he emerged as the top point scorer in the match.

Rashid Khan

The young leg-spinner had come into his own against KXIP. He picked up with 3 wickets and also proved to be economical. His spell didn’t allow KXIP batsmen to shift gears in the middle overs and it led to the increase in the required rate at the end. He made 33.5 fantasy points in this IPL match.

K Khaleel Ahmed

He is slowly establishing himself as the leader of the attack. He once again came up with a good performance. He made early breakthrough by dismissing Chirs Gayle cheaply and he then picked another 2 crucial wickets in the middle overs whenever there was a formation of a long partnership. He was the Dream11 game changer of the match and made 31 points.

Players who didn’t Perform

Chris Gayle

The Universe Boss failed to live up to the expectations of Dream11 fantasy cricket players. He departed early and his dismissal had a huge impact on KXIP’s chase, as they rely heavily on the top order for runs. He made only 4.5 fantasy points in yesterday’s IPL match.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

He couldn’t replicate his recent good form in the match, as he went wicketless. His performance was certainly a disappointment for Dream11 fantasy cricket players, as he made only 6 points in the match.
