Dream11 IPL Match 11 Post Match Review: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Sunrisers Hyderabad thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore out of the park and won by 118 runs. On Sunday it was ‘batsmen’s day’ in Hyderabad, Jonny Bairstow and David Warner came up with blistering tons and posted 231 on the board in the first innings.

In the second innings it was a disappointing performance from Bangalore batsmen, as they fumbled against quality Hyderabad bowlers. They couldn’t score even 120 runs in total. Including yesterday’s loss, Bangalore is yet to register a single win in this season of the IPL.

FD players performance

Players who performed as expected

David Warner

The Sunrisers’ opening batsman came up with yet another good performance. After a couple of half-centuries in the opening two matches, the Australian player this time around had converted it into a big ton on Sunday. He made 71.5 points in the match.

Jonny Bairstow

The English wicket-keeper batsman displayed his potential in the match. He too made a brutal ton in the match. It allowed Warner some time at the other end of the crease. His glorious knock set things high and proved to be the game changer from the beginning for Sunrisers. He made 81 points.

Sandeep Sharma

He had lived up to the pre-match talk of being a threat for Bangalore. He picked 3 wickets and also proved to be effective in the field by making a crucial run-out.

He dismissed Virat Kohli in the chase, which put Bangalore in a disadvantageous position. He made 36 points in the match.

Mohammad Nabi

Nabi, who replaced Nadeem in the squad, came up with a credible performance. This being his first match of the season, he is already posing a tough selection decision for the team management. His magical spell of 4/11 in 4 overs destroyed Bangalore last evening. He made 53 points in the match.

Players who didn’t perform as expected

Virat Kohli

The Bangalore skipper failed to contribute his average points in the match. He didn’t stay at the crease for long. The required run rate got the better of him in the match. He made only 0.5 points.

AB de Villiers

It was not his day with the bat. He terribly failed to live up to his standards. His wicket early in the chase caused panic in the Bangalore camp.. He made 2.5 points in the match.

Mohammad Siraj

Siraj couldn’t replicate his good form at his actual home ground, still he was the most economical bowler for his side. He could also contribute only 2.5 points.
