Dream11 IPL Match 21 Post Match Review: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

It was all purple in the Pink city on Sunday. The match is one to be forgotten for Rajasthan Royals, as Kolkata Knight Riders thrashed the hosts in Sawai Man Singh stadium. Rajasthan Royals were never in the contest throughout the match, as their batsmen’s inability to shift gears have hurt them the most. In the second innings, Kolkata chased down the sub-par total with immense ease, as Rajasthan bowlers were also wayward with their performance.

FD Players Performance

Players who performed well

Steven Smith

The Australian batsman is one of the reasons for the Rajasthan Royals’ loss on Sunday. But as far as fantasy team is concerned he was the top point scorer in the match as he made 73 runs in the match. He performed better than his average points per match, as he came up with 51 points.

Chris Lynn

Kolkata’s opening batsman had given his team a great start in the chase. He was destructive throughout his knock, as he took Rajasthan bowlers to the cleaners. He made 37 points in the match.

Sunil Narine

First up, he was economical with the ball and later he was equally destructive, just like Lynn with the bat. His all-round show helped Kolkata dominate the match in all departments. He made 32.5 points.

Jos Buttler

The wicket-keeper batsman lived up to our expectations on him, as he came up with a 30+ score in the match. His knock set things well for Rajasthan’s middle order, but they failed to capitalize on the decent start. He made 24 points on Sunday.

Harry Gurney

Gurney who replaced Lockie Ferguson had a memorable IPL debut. He showcased all his slower balls in the match and proved he can be reliable in the death overs. He picked 2 crucial wickets of Jos Buttler and Tripathi in the match and scored 22 points.

Shreyas Gopal

He was the only Rajasthan Royals bowler who showed intent in the match. He dismissed the dangerous opening pair of Kolkata and stopped the flow runs in the chase for some time. He made 22 points in the match.

Players who didn’t perform well

Jofra Archer

He failed to live up to the expectations on him, as he couldn’t pick a wicket in the match when Rajasthan needed it the most. He made only 4 points in the match.

Ben Stokes

It was not his day for the England all-rounder, as he struggled to find the timing throughout his stay at the crease. His poor performance with the bat in the death overs proved to be expensive for Rajasthan, as they had to settle for a below par score. He made only 3.5 points in the match.
