Dream11 IPL Match 25 Post Match Review: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

The contest between Chennai Super Kings and  Rajasthan Royals produced a nail biter as both sides batsmen failed to score big on a good batting surface. Rajasthan after getting a good start with the bat started gifting wickets to Chennai bowlers. These mistakes made them settle for a par score. Later, Chennai lost 4 wickets up front in the powerplay and lost momentum. But, an inspiring partnership between Rayudu and Dhoni helped Chennai to cross over the line until the match went into the final ball.

Players who performed well

M. S. Dhoni

The Captain Cool turned the heat in the match, and showed why he is the best finisher in the world. He walked into the crease when his team was in deep trouble. He was cautious early in his innings but as the required rate went high, he unleashed the beast in him so as to keep up with it. He almost saw his team through the chase. He made 43 points in the match.

Ambati Rayudu

He was unfazed by the fall of wickets in the chase. He held one end tight to keep the hope alive in the Chennai dugout. He may not have produced his best so far in the season, but he came up with a characteristic knock under pressure to give his team a chance in chaos. He made 46.5 points.

Ben Stokes

He may not have defended 18 runs in the final over of the chase, but he played his part in the match with his all-round ability. First up, he helped Rajasthan post a respectable total on the board and later he picked two crucial wickets in the match. He may have ended up on the losing side but he definitely proved his worth. He made 37.5 points in the match.

Jofra Archer

He was the most economical bowler in the match, his spell put a lot of pressure on Chennai batsmen at the end. He was also handy with the bat in the end overs as he held one end tight alongside Stokes and Gopal. He came up with 31 points in the match.

FD Grand league team Predictions

We couldn’t predict the teams accurately for the match. We missed on few batsmen in our teams, as we thought those basemen may not perform in the match considering their recent form. Hence, we could only make mediocre points in the match.
